McAllister brace boosts Blue Toon

Two Rory McAllister goals helped Peterhead to a 3-0 victory over second-placed Stranraer.

McAllister scored a goal in each half before Roy McBain slotted home from six yards to seal the points for the Blue Toon.

McAllister's first was a left-footed strike which nestled in the bottom-left corner of David Mitchell's goal after 34 minutes.

He doubled his goal tally with a superb volley from 20 yards after Bryan Deasley had teed him up from the left wing.

McBain made sure the points were coming back to Peterhead with a goal from close range on the 82 minute mark that made it 3-0.

Stranraer failed to create many chances in a game which Peterhead dominated but due to Queens Park's loss at Montrose, they remain second in the table.
