Ten-man Peterhead held on for a draw which meant they equalled their best-ever third division points total.

The home side went in front after three minutes. David Hagen set up Allan Youngson, and his shot was parried by keeper Willy McCulloch into the path of Martin Bavidge, who side-footed the ball into an empty net from six yards.

Bavidge then saw a shot well saved by McCulloch at the near post before the keeper denied Scott Michie, diving low to save.

With three minutes of the half remaining, Peterhead midfielder Graeme Stewart, G was harshly shown a second yellow card for a challenge in midfield.

Two minutes into added time Joe Savage cut the ball back to Paul McGrillen, who clipped the ball over Peterhead keeper Barry Thompson from close range.

The second half saw the visitors fail to capitalise on their one-man advantage, and it was Peterhead who could have won the game with a couple of half chances.
