Peterhead 1-1 Forfar- Match Report

Peterhead managed to end a run of six straight defeats with a 1-1 draw at home to Forfar.

The Blue Toon would have recorded their first victory since the end of January if not for Ross Campbell's stoppage time equaliser.

Forfar were looking to cement their play-off position and were heavy favourites against bottom of the table Peterhead.

Yet it was the hosts who opened the scoring in the 34th minute when Connor Gethans turned home a Martin Bavidge cross for his fourth league goal of the season.

Peterhead's first choice goalkeeper Paul Jarvie was replaced by John Bateman following a first-half injury.

It was the introduction of Christopher Templeman in the second-half which sparked an improvement in Forfar's performance, Campbell heading home from close range at the death.
